Multimedio para el apoyo de la enseñanza del idioma inglés

Abstract

Because of the vast prevalence of English in today's world, English as a second language is becoming increasingly vital to everyone. In order to support and facilitate the learning of English language in children of primary school, we have decided to create a Educational Multimedia. The innovative Educational Multimedia will enable children to learn a wide vocabulary and to identify objects of everyday use at home and the school through images, sounds, games and different activities. Also this Multimedia can be a great support to teachers of English. The aims have been successfully completed. During the research, we found that the system actually facilitates closer and learning of English language, in a simple and effective way. According to preliminary studies, testimonies and interviews, we think our project will have a great comercial and social success. The teachers Nelida Jorquera, Elizabeth Benavides and Elena Salinas analyzed the project and now they want to put Educational Multimedia in practice with children of primary school. They think this resource will encourage children to cope better way the learning of English language. I have been working for La Nación since October 2005. I work as designer in the Art departament.
