Resumen
Pneumococcal infections are a public health problem in older adults. In Chile there are two vaccines at this time, PPSV23 and PCV13. The objective of this study is to determine the cost-effectiveness of a PCV13 vaccination program versus a PPSV23 program in high risk adults 18 years old and over with a coverage of 100% and in healthy adults 65 years old with a coverage of 90%, in the Chilean Health System.
